Today in 1997 the British Flag came down forever in Hong Kong and the colony reverted to self rule after 156 years as a British Colony. Think of it, the U.S. may be in Iraq only half as long.
Howard Dean has surprised everyone by raising $6.2 million this quarter and $9 million so far for his campaign. The reporting quarter is almost closed and he may hit $6.5, making him a viable 2nd place runner to Sen Kerry.

Today worked on personal essays. I have five ready to go to be published somewhere. I have around 90 story ideas that will support a personal essay. Carol Mahler says I should just go ahead and write the 90 essays. I'm going to give it a try.
Right now I'm going off to view some favorite blogs.
Today I finished a 621 word essay for Saturday's Writers Critique Circle. These have been very helpful to me and though I've only attended three I've picked up clues and help each time. My essay this time is "Henry sells a Building Lot on the first Day."
The RNC, Republican National Committee, sent me a personalized autographed picture of President Bush in a flight Jacket. I believe it was taken on the Aircraft Carrier Abraham. I've got to check that out. I'm going to make a donation as requested. It's a cover, because I am opposed to about everything President Bush is doing. I'm banking on the contribution as being a help to me when my deportation hearing comes up. I'm going to make a 2x contribution to Howard Dean. He is one person that spoke against the war at the height of the Patriot Craze we all endured. Brave man that Howard, and I take great interest in his efforts and ideas.
Silence is a real sedition. I have to remember that and speak out.

It is a map of neo-con plans for us all and dated June 3, 1997. It tell why we are where we're at today, and by extension where we are going. It ain't a pretty sight.

It is strange, but I have two examples of lying that are close to me that have a point in common I wish to make and see if anyone else can make a similar observation or can fault my observation. Both President Bush and my grandson are polished liers. Both are born again Christains. Both lie to achieve their ends and for our good. They are serving God by misinforming the rest of us as to the true facts in the matter. And it is for our own good, as they will explain when they are caught in a lie. What a chilling observation.
I organized my recent clippings and notes yesterday. Instead of explaining how I did it I will make a photo or the actual system and post it soon.
Now I'm off to check a couple of real blogs and then get dressed. s/ h
One day of blogging and I start to see how it works. I been just on the gathering end and visiting blogs like Steven Johnson and others who are at or near the top of the blog world, it appears to me. The idea of a network of minds attracts me. I have three people who I would like to blog with because I admire the way they think.

The stories of the past, can not be verified, but their greatest fault lies in their constant default condition of killing and maiming.
