Debris in street, but classic FL sunset in background.

Part of the DMAT Angel team, aka FL-5, that were so good to my wife Pat by providing antibotic IV daily until she could make other arrangements.
The CBS camera crew shooting the clip that was used that night on Nightly News. Aug 18.Between the two CBS techs is my wife Pat in the wheelchair, while Scott Lord, at right, fills out her chart
My wife Pat on the right and our friend Janet in the EM Shelter. Janet lost her mobile home to Charley.

Neighbors carport with my carport piled up around it.
In the period of a few minutes Charley touched hundreds of thousands of people's lives and then left the area. The damage has been shown repeatedly on TV, but it is an other thing to live through it and in it. Pat and I were shown on TV on Monday, Aug 18, CBS Nightly News receiving medical services at the DMAT tent. Pat has been on antibotic IV for months, and we were lucky to be able to continue her treatment at the DMAT. It's a kick to have people report from Wisconsin and South Carolina that they knew we were safe because they saw us on TV.
Today I had my second shower since Aug 14. The first one was yesterday. My Road Runner broadband just came back on and so I'm blogging. I wouldn't attempt it on my dial up 56K.
Pictures and further information will follow.
