7:30 Friday AM 9/10/2004 This morning before daylight the sky here was very clear and all the naked eye star groups were bright and sparkelly. A quarter moon was about 40 degrees above the eastern horizon. A moment of calm beauty. Big deal today is if or not the Corps of Engineers puts a tarp on my roofs. Without the tarps there is a good chance we will have a total or near total loss over the weekend. Pat see her Doctor this am. Also has the daily IV Antibotic, and then hustles down to Regional Medical for a MRI on her toe. Then home and start moving blankets and bedding to Maureen's home. An undamaged cinderblock home out of the flood zone. Prime property in our eyes. Maureen is a single lady quilt friend of Pat's so Pat, I and Janet will be going there. I will continue Blogging every day that I can connect to a phone line.
NEWS FLASH, Reindeer on the roof...........NO it's the Army Corp of Engineers tarping our roof.............wow wowow.......bye for now.............henry
