Curious Mind

The human mind understands such a small sliver of the information contained in the universe. How can humans make progress towards understanding what is really going on?

Tuesday 7:59 AM 10/5/2004 Good weather is in a holding pattern now in SW Florida. Sunny, low humidity, and not too hot. Our neighbor is out and about every morning now, although I've not seen her yet this morning. Eleanor is better, but still no well. Such is the slow course of shingles.

Last evening I wrote to Joe Dillion Ford,
"Recently I've entered a different phase of my life. All my adult has been devoted to drinking coffee, or planning where my next cup of coffee was coming from. August 12 we went to the shelter and I have not had a cup of coffee since. I drink decaf tea in the AM and maybe at lunch. I have a can of Caffene free diet coke in the afternoon. There was no withdrawal, I have no craving, coffee just dropped out of my life." Is coffee good or bad for a person? Depends, there is a lot of conflicting information. I wasn't trying to stop, and now I'm not going to try to start up again. I'll just let nature take it's couse.
