Curious Mind

The A.C.L.U. sold themselves for less than .5% of their annual budget. Their budget is 102 million and to protect $470,000, they agreed to use a government supplied terror watch list and not hire anyone on that list. What a classic sell out.

Anymore trust's
not worth
it's previous price

Sold cheaply by
business, church, government
for only money

It took a while
Mom, flag, apple pie
still holding up

But subject to
general suspect-
who's next?

The denials
are quick, strong
and unequivocal

Until the judge's
sentence ends
their oozing betrayal

They knew at inception
they were lying-
their deception failed.
