Hi,
I just got out of the field for 5 days. We did squad training, which is something new for us tankers. We were infintry and I have a whole new look on what they do. Since Sunday I have had 18 hours sleep. It is a good thing.
I would just like to thank everyone for all of the e-mail and letters/cards that everyone has been sending. My address for anyone that does not have it is:

Camp Shelby, MS 39407-5500
We do not have Internet in the barracks yet, so I am at Battalion on a government computer. They are trying to get us service in the barracks.
The weather here is aright. This is the rainy season for here. It has been between 50-70 during the days. We have a couple of days for maintenance and then we will go into the M1A1 transition.
I have been very busy here but I am always thinking of all of you at home. Some days it is easy but other days it is very hard.
Once again thank you for all that everyone is doing. I will let people know if there is anything that I need. Right now the only thing that I can think of is some knee pads and elbow pads. Please talk to other people and see who or if people can pitch in to get them. Once again thanks for all of the support. I will try to write again.
